The 7th annual JAMBANA™ One World Festival, presented by Jones & Jones Productions Ltd, will see a fusion of world cultures at the Markham Fair Grounds on Sunday August 2nd and Monday August 3rd, 2015. The festival runs from 1:00pm to 9:30pm both days. This year’s festival is supported by long-time television partner, Global Toronto and new addition for 2015, the Toronto Sun.
In a two-day showcase that features some of the best in music and entertainment, JAMBANA™ One World Festival is pleased to announce this year’s performers which include, the Queen of Soca Alison Hinds, reggae sensation Kabaka Pyramid, four time JUNO Award winner Exco Levi, Australian born artist Nattali Rize & Notis, Dancehall Sensation Gully Bop, veteran performer Ernie Smith, North America’s funny man Majah Hype, Steele, George Banton, Nana McLean, Kiprich, Fab 5, Hip Hop Queen Michie Mee, and more.
This unique offering of talent is one of a kind and is an ongoing feature of the JAMBANA™ One World Festival brand. “This year’s festival is a treat for our patrons” said Denise Jones, co-founder of Jones & Jones Productions Ltd and JAMBANA™ One World Festival “We’ve crafted a festival in which patrons can enjoy themselves in so many ways. Located at the Markham Fair Grounds, 10801 McCowan Road, 30 minutes north of Toronto, the venue offers free parking, plus 300,000 square feet of space which will house villages that patrons can walk through to gain a true worldly experience. There will be a food village, children’s village, health village, education village, VIP village, domino village, travel & trade village, global village and non-stop activity in the entertainment village from the main stage. There is something for everyone at JAMBANA™ One World Festival.
Jesse Jones, President & Chief Innovation Officer at TEN81 Lifestyle Inc., manages the festival’s branding and partnerships and he states, “This is an exciting year for JAMBANA™ One World Festival. Hosts for the 2015 festivities include Rudi Blair from 680 News and Rogers TV, Delroy G from G 98.7 FM, Patrick Roots from CIUT 89.5 FM and Luther Brown to name a few. In addition, Allan Jones, co-founder of Jones & Jones Productions Ltd and JAMBANA™ One World Festival., will also host and share his focus on raising awareness of health ailments that are prominent in people of African, Caribbean, South American and South Asian heritage.
